BACK-TO-SCHOOL CLOTHING SWAP

August 18th, 2018

Paying for clothes is tough! It's hard for our pocket books to keep up with how quickly our children grow and with how hard they like to play. Thankfully, Stay Litt is here to help relieve some stress, specifically for families with low-income and families of color.

Please join us for a free clothing swap Saturday, August 18th, from 4 - 6 PM. We will have clothes for all ages, but we're specifically hoping to have plenty of children's clothes (sizes for children aged 2 - 18).  Free refreshments will also be provided!

Please press RSVP button below to find out the details of the event, or contact us at Staylittpdx@gmail.com if you'd like to donate clothing or funds to help host a great event for our community.

BLACK CINEMA FROM THE 20TH CENTURY

August 26, 2018

Let’s experience and/or learn about Black Cinema from the 20th Century.

This will be a monthly gathering taking place on Sunday evenings! We’ll have snacks, films and good conversation ready.

Some of the films will be:
Crooklyn
The Last Dragon
Blank Man
Meteor Man
Carmen Jones
Bright Road
The Wiz
Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner
To Sir with Love
Waiting to Exhale
The Five Heartbeats (my personal favorite!)

Etc.

If you have questions/suggestions for films, please contact us through our page or email us at staylittpdx@gmail.com. If you’d like to donate to help keep our events happening, please find our gofundme me on both our FB page and website.

As always, we can’t wait to see you!! Take good care ❤️💜❤️

Also, the movie polls will be posted every month so we can all decide which one we’ll view.
